I got started with 3D printing to give me another option to address the failure of the hard rubber sill plates in our 1953 Chrysler.
I’ve added this page to our web site to document what I’ve been doing for myself and other Illinois Region members.
I’ve designed my replacement sill plates finally made the $1000+ commitment and purchased a Creality CR-30. See more below.
Car parts I’ve designed and printed so far have been for friends like inner fender plugs for Dan Sobczyks 1965 Cadillac or the shock absorber grommets and other parts for Bob Grutza’s 1936 Nash. I’ll keep adding things here as I create new parts for the club members.
